Your first lap
You do not need a quad (short for quadcopter) to begin. A radio controller and a simulator are the fastest is all your need to learn to fly.
Simulator practice is key to learning the essentials—and crashes do not destroy quads. All you need is a computer capable of playing video games and a radio controller (RC).

FPV Simulators:
Start with a radio, then goggles, batteries, charger and quad(s). These Canadian FPV shops can help with pre-built quads, compatible gear and replacement parts.
Ask us before buying : we can help you choose compatible gear for the classes you want to race in.
FPV Stores:
We race quads in different classes: 31 mm, 3-inch, 5-inch, and 7-inch propellers, using analog or HDZero video systems.
We host practice meetups and official races at the club field located in Pitt Meadows, as well as special events throughout the Vancouver Lower Mainland.
Through the goggles
Race days are equal parts speed, repairs, friendly rivalry and time spent outside with a great crew.

KwadsRUs Racing Club brings FPV pilots together in Metro Vancouver to race, build skills and share the hobby. What began as a group of enthusiasts meeting to fly has grown into an active MultiGP chapter with organized events and a welcoming local community.
Our outdoor club field gives pilots room to set technical courses, practise safely and spend a full day racing. Exact event and field access details are shared with each race listing.
